<< A rationalistic politics of interest is a base for lasting peace. This is one reason, why in history nations didn't go on war for parts of their neighbors' population. >>

Your lasting peace, in the case of Kosovo, would come after all the inhabitants of Kosovo were evicted or dead. Rational?

Yugoslavia was formed from separate nations, against their will, by the communists. Hence, Yugoslavia may not be considered a legitimate nation. When those "illegally" forced together nations want their freedom, you say that they must adhere to the rules set forth by the communists. Rational?

<< The legal body of wars faught for humanity must be the UN, not NATO. >>

This is a crock! The UN and NATO have different mandates. NATO was formed to protect Europe from it's enemies and attempt to prevent another world war. The UN, which is a badly run organization IMHO, is an essential forum for communications between nations and a tool to promote peace and international agendas. I wouldn't place the peace and security of the US in UN hands, regardless of how much you love the UN.

<< Robert Barry, politics should be governed by rationality. >>

You might try to set a good example of this. <g>
