I don't believe the person from AOL researched NTBK properly. His figures don't even include latest monthly account growth. Also, he failed to mention that NTBK just started its new, and very successful advertising program a short time ago. This program could be expanded, and who knows what that would do for them.

Also, did he mention the attractiveness of NTBK as a company for late-comers to the internet banking field? It will take at least a year for most companies to even do what NetBank is already doing.

And, again, he didn't compare the complaints about NetBank with complaints to other internet start-ups, or even AOL. AOL has inferior service, in many ways, and yet they continue to growth their customer base very quickly. Why? Obviously, everyone doesn't value all features the same. With NetBank, perhaps the driving features are High interest rates and No Fee checking.

I like NTBK a lot. Hopefully, this quarter's numbers will show the acceptable account quality, and continuing great account number growth.

NTBK valued itself at 29.00 for secondary offering, I bought at that time. Then I read the article on Motley Fools and decided to sell it. Netbanks will be big for the future but customer service will be the key and if that article is true (looks so) the ntbk has a severe public relations problem. Still think it has a great future and is also a takeover play. I will watch the future price closely.
