In the 1st quarter of this year they netted ~$1,000,000. They also stated that the first quarter is also, the weakest. If they maintain O/S at 20,000,000 then the fiscal year 1999 should produce an eps of .20 X20 = $4 a share. Am I misguided here?

Your missing that the OS was 8M about a year ago 17.9M two months ago and now appears to be 20M. That's called dilution, without added value and there appears to be none, the stock price drops sharply, as it has.
