good thing he is ...Germany goes to cut Corp taxes by 15% in 2001

as Austin Powers would say," Yeah, Capitalism" -g-

*German govt plans to lower corporate taxes to 25% (from up to 40%) in 2001, incl local taxes to 38% (from 56%) according to the Handelsblatt daily.

*German labour minister, Riester, plans to raise pension less than 1% vs 3% to 4% in 2000/01 and save Dem 10 Bln, plans to suspend rule allowing pension increases to rise in line with wages.
