A friend of mine went to an investment club meeting last night. SYCD was discussed. The person presenting it had spoken to Sy Picon, CEO, and he indicated a PR would be out next week. Apparently there was a very successful trade show last week. I picked up some SYCD.

SyCoNet.com Begins Marketing 200 Best Selling Pokemon Toys
MANASSAS, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 7, 1999--SyCoNet.com, Inc. (OTC BB:SYCD - news), the leading U.S. distributor of Anime (Japanese animated) videos and DVDs, today announced that it recently began marketing the 200 best selling Pokemon toys and ancillary products through a distribution agreement with the manufacturer in Japan.

''As one of just a few U.S. firms selected to directly import these extremely popular toys, SyCoNet.com has the significant opportunity to capture dominant market share since we sell the products at a considerable discount to most distributors,'' explained Sy Picon, chief executive officer at the Company.

Today's announcement follows last week's news regarding SyCoNet.com's distribution agreement with Pioneer Electronic Corp. (NYSE:PIO - news) for the Pokemon video and DVD series.

The Company is selling a broad array of Pokemon items, including stuffed animals marketed under the name plushies, backpacks, and pocket toys. The Company distributes the product line to retailers and expects to begin marketing the items direct to consumers in August 1999.

SyCoNet.com, Inc. distributes Anime (Japanese animated) movies, live action cult films, multimedia games and software, DVDs, CDs, toys, apparel, and related merchandise to retail and consumer markets nationwide through two high-traffic websites, a catalog, and direct sales campaigns.
