Howdy Pals, What is this, on the rare night I go to sleep at a decent hour, you'uns hang an Allniter party on Techride to welcome back Blue, say Howdy to Impristine, and mebbe pull a tail or two?!
I'm late this morning, wanted to tie up some loose ends over yonder first thing.... before reading your kind words over again, and then to Thank My Good Friends Who Understand Me For Your Kind Words.
Blue hits the nail on the head....."Just an observation: if someone acts like they have a stick up their a$$, it often is because they are losing money. So watch the stock." Yep, Chisel That In Granite. Blue'uns an me've been down thet road before, ain't we pal? Started up about this time last year, wasn't it, too? It's The Season's Coming Up Alrite...but this year the techs and nets are different places than they were then, in all four directions. Then there's the unknown equation of Y+2=K looming, so an XFiles will be round the markets, might skew things a tad every which way, cycles and prediction-wise, pert near. Some folks have deadlines looming in their investments, others don't. Who would be getting more nervous about near-term movements? I for one, have been in on a few upsetting battles myself in The Coliseum Arena, and so call it a day for that one for me. Yep, these boards can get real dicey. Especially with those who can play it both ways at different times of year, or simultaneously with different screennames. Sweating Bullets in the heat of summer, no thanks. Joe You Were Solid Under Fire! No sense keeping it up, it'd only get worse. Wouldn't It Be Like A Dream for Some Folks if all the BullsyLongs were just thrown off SI? NastieNastie from Outta Nowhere is part of the pattern, so is setting up multiple boards for no reason a'tall. Yep, the shoe seems to fit but only time will tell. Just an observation, the fertile forums for maneuvers are prepared first...one that's sucked dry of enjoyment, frolic, emotion, creativity, longs, other groups of pals, and especially of positive points about a stock that won't be an area of controlled focus when the whammy hits. Action like we saw yesterday yonder has gotta make yer ears perk up, but who knows if that's really what it is, it might be just cranks not likin' to see a celebration that they're not into. Whether or not, the pattern we're about to see more and more around treads is usually first some good points about a stock are said, remember the theory is to draw new buyers in then get 'em to panic and stampede sell when the button is pushed. Watch for the same points being made over and over by the same individuals while others points are ignored. This lays the groundwork for the carpet being yanked out from under those. Sometimes with a smallstock it even works, when the few forums and sources are covered. IMHO Our Stock won't be affected by whatever nonsense might come to its boards, too many longs are sitting on too many shares and some Certificate Shares they'd be, too. Of course as Blue sez only a fool would be shorting running Internets anyway. It's that the price of the option is so often cheap, and the risk of the further loss is so high, that there's desperation when the market goes up if they've missed their moment. Waiting around for it to get low enough to get in on it again, like with us, isn't a luxury enjoyed in their case. That's why they get a stick up their a$$.
It's nothing personal.
You were so right Carolyn, Smiles All Around.
909s To My Pals,
Joanie
