In retrospect, perhaps I was a bit to harsh in my comments to Olu, but I am not backing
down from the gist of my comments. You are correct in saying that I am bullish on
AOL.

Tar,

I can relate to no end and do understand your comments. The market overshoots above and below a stock and it has frustrating as it can be when it feels like the market is taking money from you unfairly. Last year was the worst investing year of my life because I shorted AMZN and was not long enough shares of AOl to offset it.

To me, it hurts to see the current decline of AOL, considering that nothing, if at all, has
changed as far as fundamentals is concerned. I mean, has AOL, the company, materially
changed since April of this year to warrant a slide from 175 1/2 to 105 1/2?
Wasnt' AOL being touted by the wise as recently as about 2 1/2 months ago, as the #1
investment?

I bought AOL again at 158 and on margin too. It hurts me too and believe the AOl fiears are overdone especially if I compare their fundamentals to that of AMZN. These are clearly stocks with a lot of momentum. We may get a gift sometimes on the upside and shot on the downside with no change in the fundamentals. You are correct; the fundamentals have not changed one bit.

I sometimes are wordy trying to break that habit. I want you to do well. Two reasons. You are a nice guy and if you do well, so will I <G>

It has become clear that the summer months are more difficult than I expected. I will become active on this thread and post all the analyst's comments from Merrill Lynch and DLJ regarding AOL. That typically makes me feel better:-)
