Another reason (besides free cash), would be to buy another company and pay in stock. So, they think, they have something to move the stock higher, and in this case it's better to buy it back now. Because, it would not make much sense for me either. As well as hyping - they never did it, why start now? Just my speculation. Good luck to everybody. Val.

I don't think that the news release should have used the words "buy-Back". eConnect is not buying the BETT shares. Tom's company ET&T is investing in BETT. It is better for ET&T to buy shares at $0.50 to $0.62 than to buy into the 10,000,000. It is also better for eConnect to find new investors in the investment community who will support BETT's business plan. We need to get more recognition for the BETT stock and if Tom's buying the BETT stock moves the BETT price above $0.62, the investment community will be more willing to buy the 10,000,000 @ $0.62. The sale of 10,000,000 new shares will not dilute our shares. I like the idea. Scoobey

Hi Carlos, It is a stratigic move. On the contrary, they do have the monies. In fact, remember the NR. Use the monies to best benifet the companies objectives. Remove stock from the market and the price goes up.;-)))))) There tighten up the stock. That means the way I count it, only 2mil out there at the most. Anyone wants in, they pay a premium. That means the company dictates the price.;-))))))) That/this will raise the capital and circumvent dilution of the stock. Smart move if it works.;-)))) Ron
