A LIE Would Destroy LE!

To mislead WallStreet in anyway will sink the ship. So, it must be that business at ORCL have picked up. An article I read said that last quarter was back end loaded. Also, many companies have FIXED their Y2K Problems. ORCL will trade higher in a correcting market if the numbers are good to excellent. We need to beat the numbers, due to credibility problem.

Good Luck To ALL Longs!

blisenko,

>>I would have to believe that he would have to be considered mentally ill if the company was not performing up to the "streets" expectations.

I certainly hope so, BUT 2 points to consider:

1)LE is virtually always optimistic and a few times in the past this has severely dented his credibility.

2)ORCL met "the Street's" expectations last qtr., but got hammered because they were short on revs. and earnings were met through a one-time prop.

Just food for thought. I am long ORCL and intend to stay that way, but very concerned about this qtr and the next.
