The Fed's WILL NOT RAISE 50 bp's. Greenspan has a history of making small "measured" moves. I would think the Fed governors will not be so bold, especially as the second half of the year is quite questionable regarding economic growth and Y2K. I think it is what they say after the meeting on June 27th that will be important. Will they still have a biased to tighten or will they go neutral. The bond market will key off that news in my opinion.
