I have had a situation occur 3 or 4 times this year in trading options through WH. They apparently rout only to the major exchange -usually CBOE and so the best bid is not always obtained. THe first time it happened I called to ask why I wasn't filling and they said it happened VERY RARELY that the best bid wasn't on the major exchange, but if I noticed it and called they would rerout it. Today I noticed and called, and they said first they had to see if CBOE would honor American's bid and then if not they would rerout it. Well, by the time they got back to me, the bid was down again, and it was too late to get that price on ANY exchange. Schwab I hear automatically gets you the best bid- why can't WH?
DAmn it- I'm soooo mad.

CHanging firms is such a hassle, but this is driving my blood pressure up.
