I should have qualified that statement, please accept my apologies.

My understanding is that the Corel relationship was structured in a way that gave Corel extremely preferred pricing. I assume that DRIV gave Corel this deal in an effort to gain a "big name" customer when DRIV was just starting to build a customer base.

Of course this is only speculation and opinion derived from the information I have been able to find.
