You lose several points here and there but you hold your cash intact so you can fully participate in the next run!< I look at the market as a sandwich in which I do not even try to pick the tops or the bottoms. I wait as you said for a sign of the next run and may give up a few points, but that is like giving up the bread on the sandwich. I would much rather have the meat of the sandwich for that is where the money is made. Have fun were ever you are and look forward to getting your post. Hank
