Close but not yet--An OSX print above 78.81 would reconfirm the uptrend. So far, only 78.69 peak and 'stalling' a bit-will it or won't it?

Gary - I have never thought of reducing my holdings. You must have mistaken me for some other on this thread. I'm into the OSX for at least 12-18 more months, possibly longer. It's depletion!!!!!!

Gary

I think you were talking to me. Actually it was the EIA but that's OK since the EIA gets its int'l stats from IEA. Kinda dumb that the two most important energy agencies in the world have such similar acronyms.<g>

I haven't done anything yet but I am looking to lighten up on strength. My reasons are many...the S/D balance is slightly positive now but should accelerate later in the year..CAPEX plans should look much better by then...toppy, overpriced general market..a personal bias to heavy equity exposure during the summer doldrums. I see some near-term strength but then a summer of funk and choppiness. I'd rather hit the golf course and the beach than obsess about the oil bidness. After a while, a certain ennui sets in about OPEC and Iraq and EIA and IEA and API and GOM....etc. I think I need to rest.<ggg>
