C.J. I remember reading that a new CEO compensation would include substantial number of options. It is highly conceivable that it is to CPQ's advantage to depress the price until the CEO is on board and all option deals signed. I think this is one HELL of an opporunity for the right HIGHLY PERSONABLE, tech exec to exploit for his personal gain. I suspect this new person has already been found and will be announced after the long 4th of July weekend. This announcement will also be followed by leaks of late quarter sales increases from around the world and the details of the AV spinoff in September.

Why wouldn't any competent exec. not want to step into a situtation that presents as much potential with as little interference as he or she will encounter. I think that when things are as bad as they are right now, the new CEO will have carte blance to "DO HIS MIRACLE WORK."

Ok, I hear talk of a CEO ready to sign a deal soon with some IBM influence here. I am in at 22 1/2, for the quick 6 point pop.
