Glenn,

I think amzn will not sell off unless they get a disaster in their expansion plans. Like the automation not working. It seems to me the selling has stopped. Just no buying. I don't think the buying will start until Sept or later. But before December. It will be driven by bets on the revenue volume and probably Amazon getting into new products. I have no idea whether they'll succeed or fail. But I think it will generate excitement and the stock price will reflect that. The worry is from what level. If interest rates cause everything to drop, then we have to take our lumps. But I don't think there is hurry to buy a full position for a while. I just don't see how the report next month will cause a price pop (or crash). There really can't be anything new in it. Other than cash level will be lower. However, the debt level will be less also, so it may balance.

If I gave you $10k, would you be willing to sell AMZN short for me?

My long position does much better when you are short at the same time.

Thanks,
Tom D
