While I'm certainly not a TRBO fan, I would point out that this isn't necessary for TRBO to lose just because GE wins. Win-win is possible.

However, I would guess that GE's product will force MYG to reconsider what kind of prices they could charge for a TRBO oven. Simple fact is that a second alternative (even if slightly inferior) will significantly impact they prices they can charge. And you can bet that GE will do everything they can in order to impress the general public that their oven is just as good as TRBO, while also including all the nice features of regular microwave oven.

Definitely heats up the market.
