No question that Magellan has been selling
That is my theory, more or less, regardless of the reason they are selling. I just don't think they are done. Every morning I see big blocks sold into any kind of rally. I maintain that the shares of Dell, and CSCO, and AOl, and EMC, are stagnant to declining because of this steady unloading of their position. It's not interest rate fears, or Dollar/Yen values, or anticipated recession. It's supply and demand, they have a big supply they are trying to move.

The corollary to the theory is that they will eventually have sold enough. It may be possible to predict when they have sold enough by their historical (say 5 years ago) ratio of tech stocks to other stocks. Once they have sold enough these techs are going to rise by at least their growth rate, and maybe with an exuberance bonus.
