Market conditions and CMGI mostly. The sector still has no firm commitment to go higher but selling appears to be lessening.

Hmmm . . . maybe I was a bit off. It looks like bad news in CMGI and eBay finally had an effect. AOL also broke the 100 level - perhaps a key psychological level for the Internet sector. There was no rally during the day. Next week will probably see more of the same as not much good news can be expected and too few investors seem prepared to try to challenge the direction of the market trend. I am still expecting a rebound after the pre-announce period is over and Greenspan's meeting is on the table. But then I am not investing in AMZN and other Internuts - the odds aren't that good one way or the other. I still have my little FLYR which has held up remarkably well - but it is much more a value than Internet play.
