Michael, you have some interesting figures in your estimates. How did you derive the loss figures for the discontinued operations? I have seen no figures on what electricity contracts from the NAEC electricity marketing are still to be honored.

I guess your educated guess is as good as any, and certainly better than I could conjure up. Certainly management is unlikely to give any guidance to the public. If you are anywhere close, the stock price should show some appreciation. Of course, these days, it seems the only way to make money in YORK is to short at the open and cover before 3:30 or so.

York 5/31/99 Earnings My estimate verse actual

I estimated $0.15 a share from continuing operations. York reported $0.02 a share.

I estimated $0.18 a share from discontinued operations. York reported $0.04 a share.

I estimated $0.00 a share from for extraordinary gains(losses). York reported $0.00 a share.

I will study why my estimates were not as accurate as they should have been.
