Re: The hot sultry days of summer

Don,

Actually the Tourist don't have it to bad! Having recently been to Univesial Studios, I don't think I waited over 30 Min. for any ride, and that was under a covered area, as most are now, with Fans Blowing and sometimes a water mist. In fact I've heard some Theme Parks are now taking Reservations for Rides, Come back on time and your on.

Then there is Kennedy Space Center, No fancy Rides, but well worth the Trip, and the Bus Tours of Vertical Assembly Building (2nd largest building in the world in size, if they turned off the A/C Clouds would form inside and it would rain)

The Shuttle Launch Pads

The Apollo Center

Stay as long as you want at any place and catch another bus.

Two IMAX Movie theaters, both excellent.
You won't get over heated at KSC, unless your laying out in the Rocket Garden soaking up Rays, to impress your friends up north.

Speaking of North, It's hotter right now up there than down here, we've been having cloudy days and short showers keeping the heat down.

Very Strange weather in the U.S. this year.

By the way Don,you did get this statement correct.

The hot sultry days of summer. Where the true Floridians go out to
play, and "immigrated" Northerners hide in the airconditioning

Now if we could just turn up the heat on FNTN the weather would be perfect.
