I wouldn't buy too many which are down a lot - I'm not selling them either but you have to look closely to see if they might rebound or not. I buy small positions since I only seem to be right 60 - 70% of the time and can't afford the major meltdowns if I am wrong. Also, some good PEG value stocks from earlier this year are fairly valued now. Hard to find more.

Doing nothing is always a viable option. The market is open around 250 days a year. Taking a few off usually won't hurt.
