After soaring 17.4% in the last two trading sessions, it is
not surprising to see shares of MU pulling back a bit today.

Exactly the reason for the short at the open.

The run up from 39+ in 2 days would cause some to take profits.

I probably missed some of the fall. I covered at 13:10 at 43 15/16. This is probable a fake and it will fall further before close.

Long term may be positive, but, 1) general market down, 2) recent rise puts pressure to take profits.

Will look again tomorrow.

Ira

>>we would chalk up today's decline to some routine profit-taking, rather than a result of any changes in the fundamentals of the company or sector.<<

the run up was pure mo mo based on a the inability of guys named knuckles with lots of cash to interpret sia's data.

i just hope they don't miss the minus sign at the next eps report. -ng-

remember, sequential is more important than annual.

Definately agree with the profit taking comments on today's action. Shorts have had their day, and the positive outlook for sem's will keep the upward momentum going.

In the long run, I really don't care which way the stock goes, I just trade it.
