hey eagle, a couple comments brought on by your post... you have to subscribe to/request the email updates. be certain that you have done that. re: 3 hours to download a 2 mb file... is this all symantec's fault? i have cable modem and downloading goes like you-know-what through a goose. and my comment that they have their hands full was an observation, as opposed to trying to make excuses for them. there is no perfection anywhere on the web. given that, symantec has impressed me with their services and products. it's like cheeky kid said not too long ago... everyone who waits until disaster is knocking at their door is more to blame than an antivirus vendor trying to keep up with demand. (at least i think he said that <g3>) :) mark
