Heck, I thought discussing the Tao of English would be really interesting, and good for several hundred messages at least.

First: what is the meaning/usage of Tao in the first place?
Second: once we have an agreed definition or alternate proposed definitions, is there a Tao of English at all?
Third: if there is a Tao of English, what is it and how does one interact with it?

Of course, we can ask those questions even if Joan never changes the thread title.
