Frank, you are absolutely right the commercial stuff is not a holy grail, I try to look for a confluence of signals to occur when entering a trade. Ideally there are a number of technical and sentiment indicators that are in balance leaning in a direction.

The commercials can be early by several months in the change of price.

witness the bond market last year . Genesis was long at 123 and change and the bonds blew out to 135 basis the nearby contract before the turn occurred.

The cocoa market? I would leave that to the insiders, Adam Smith had a great stories in one of his books, The Money Game? where he decided to get into the cocoa market and starts pumping people at cocktail parties for potential information.

Thanks for those sites I will save them.

I was talking to some traders at a meeting on saturday,

there is a site www.pricecharts.com that is said to have some of this type of info.
