I hate to keep harping this little detail, shalom, but if God is omnipotent, he could have spared those little boys. If I were their parents, I wouldn't lean on God's 'strength' to get me through, I'd either express my regrets to Him that He had so little of it; or I'd curse His viciousness. When my innocent infant was so terribly injured, I suffered, and I still do; but knowing there was no God, I didn't, at least, have to live with the belief that this horror was 'His' will. I understood that nature, life, does these things occasionally, and on this occasion, by the bad luck of the draw, the occasion fell on our family. And I understood that there was no sonorous twaddle on earth that would make it all right. And so, to survive, I relied on things that were real. It can be done that way, I want you to know.
