David, MS should show every day you have data for. as far as compression goes it should only shorten the last week...

from help...

If the last day loaded is not the end of the selected compression period, MetaStock displays a bar of the shortened period. For example, if today is Wednesday and daily data is loaded, the last price bar of a weekly compressed chart represents the shortened week of Monday through Wednesday.

Maybe try Tools, Chart options and check Show holidays and weekends and see what happens...

but if the data is missing for week days you may have to manually add them... ugh...

"I've been running MS 6.5 on Beta 3 of Windows 2000 (NT5) for about a week now, and am not having any problems at all."

I'm curious, do explorations perform significantly more quickly with your present system than they did with Windows 95/98? I'm finding that exploration disk activity using Windows 98 is just horrendous --- and the more complex your explorations, the worse and longer the disk grinding becomes.

Thanks,
Nicholas
