SCUMbria - Re: "I think the K7 team delivered much faster than management expected, and caught them with their pants down over chipset/motherboard infrastructure."

What else would you expect of AMD's management ?

Maybe Robert Palmer can clean up this mess - just like he cleaned up at DEC !

SCUMbria - AMD's CPU prices have RISEN approximately 5% to 10% in just 2 days - as indicated on Pricewatch.com

Maybe demand for their chips is going sky-high !

Yields must be way up, right ?

Q2's "Quiet Period" starts next Monday, 6/14.

The selling suggests that a pre-warn on a bad Q2 seems coming before 6/14 is over.

Hans Mosesmann's cut today makes a pre-warn seemingly real.

Mosesmann, however, is also the guy who projected AMD Q4 98 EPS at 30 cents where actual EPS was 15 cents.
