Recent trend seemed to be headed for under $250, at which time most operators cannot cover production costs. Seems like every central bank in the world is itching to dump its gold. I own this dog of a mutual fund called the "Midas Fund" that invests in gold stocks. I just received their annual report this week. It was printed on newsprint and contained not one word of discussion on fund performance or prospects. They were too embarrassed. But thats why I am CAP_LOSS_CFWD. I also cooked Bill Gates' goose this week with my first purchase of MSFT. He should have given me a mill not to do it since he probably loses 100 or more times that per point it drops.
