Yes you do. The net will not go away. Yahoo, SI, many other
useful sites all started out w/ real, normal people goofing
around trying to make something useful. If they eventually
become billionaires, then have financial crashes destroy their
empires, that will not stop OTHER people from continuing to
goof around, trying to make something useful. I'll keep using
the sites they create if (as your exaggerate) yahoo/SI all fail.

I invest when I think the stock will go up, not when I think
there is a certain 10-year future outlook for the business.
In spite of that, I won't invest where ad money is the main
driver behind the business, since to me, that decreases the odds
of that business working out...
