Let me pose the question...

what the heck happened to 3dfx today?

Granted we've definately been trending downwards and the market is a little "eih" but this was unexpected.

I don't really see the creative suit as a negative so I don't think this is what really drove it down today. But I tell you, the thought that CREAF dumped any remaining shares out of that origional 1+ million definately came to mind.

Thoughts?

That's essentially one of the problems a 3dfx would not want to happen, especially if it's being done by the competition. Creative already includes a "translation" DLL file for 3d sound in their sound cards which is possibly some hacked file from another company because even though it is included in their installation they show no proper ownership of this file under the file properties which would normal include all the file name, version, etc... information - their's just has some cryptic name that would not indicate ownership/origin.
