Rex,

I think we have a lot of solid people contributing to the thread. I guess I am a bit surprised that others have not joined in the discussion as they discover SNDK. Perhaps many are still disbelievers. They still maintain that digital photography is a passing craze. I received a message the other day that said that digital photography will not succeed until digital cameras are "available under $5,000.00". This type of thinking is widespread. Likewise, many are still afraid of specialty semiconductor companies with small market caps and no proven earnings inertia. For this reason, very few look beyond the surface imperfections of this "diamond-in-the-rough". This is how we got taken down to cash value last October.

I still fear that the thread could become a support group for neurotic SanDisk longs like myself. It would be nice to have some countervailing opinions here. Perhaps an Iomega groupie who has thoroughly researched PCMCIA Clik! who wishes to enter the lion's den? Anyway, through constructing my recent rantings and ravings I have reaffirmed all of my original beliefs in this company formed in the Spring of 1998. I find very few investment opportunities in the current market that even come close to the appeal of SanDisk.

I am hopeful that some of the recent news regarding FLSH's success in the Web TV and the SSTI's settlement with Intel starts to turn some heads. The flash memory market likely has other jewels that are soon to be unearthed. And as people start digging around they are bound to find SanDisk. It is simply unavoidable.

As Sam pointed out earlier, we may hit a patch of low volume over the summer that deflates the stock price a bit. At that point I am a buyer. IMO, there is just to much out there in the press to risk taking anything out of current holdings in SNDK. As the saying goes...

"You gotta be in it, to win it!" Massachusetts State Lottery Slogan

I see mid-2000 and 2001 as big growth years for SNDK. Some will wait for this growth to materialize before committing a nickel to SNDK. At that point you won't be able to "swing a dead cat" without bumping into a CF card or an MMC. Thus, we are way ahead of the curve and have been since Jerome and Rex's seminal position paper in 1997.

Finally, we have a broad spectrum of people on the Thread. Any creative and constructive ideas that we can deliver to PR and Marketing would be appreciated. So, even if you have an idea that seems half-baked, it isn't nearly as half baked as some of the things that have been posted here before.

Keep the faith everyone!
