Dear E, In response to your earnest question about the little boys, satan is guilty. We battle not against flesh and blood, but powers, principalities, spiritual wickedness in high places. Are we as a complete set of peoples, races, nations, completely not in any way responsible for anything that happens. How do we raise our children? What do we teach them? Are we there for them? Where are the parents when the child needs to talk and ask questions. We've done a wonderful job?! Nope, as a matter of fact - we all - I said ALL, have had little positive effect on the human race. What do you expect from a bunch of thumb-sucking, whining, self-centered, self-willed, child-like beings. Is this a surprise? What about the Holocaust E?!! What about slavery? What about the Civil War, brothers killing brothers? What about the A-bomb? Are any of this new under the sun? Could we maybe get off our duffs and set better examples for our youth? Could we perhaps show them a better way? The world is not perfect, hasn't been since "the fall", and will not be until the Lamb returns as a Lion to set up His Kingdom for a thousand years. I understand your anger at this event, but put the blame where it lies. E try C. S. Lewis "The Problem of Pain". As a matter of fact I suggest everyone read that little book. hi E~ in St. Louis for the week-end, sitting out a thunder storm. read your question and the response. i have no clue. never posted to that name nor do i hang or lurk near religious threads. my personal beliefs are just that, personal and i don't share them on the internet, period. i have locked horns a few times, very few, through the years with posters. i state my opinion, then move on. i won't be pulled into an ongoing argument. since she or he is using an alias, i have no idea what the reference is to. unstable and fanatical people can and often do develop illusions for no logical reason. i avoid the uglies and this person is UGLY. i prefer to post to people i connect with and admire. i respond to people who possess humor, style, wit and grace. aa has none of the above. let her rant, let her rave, let her leave me alone. she has a lot more to worry about than a fly swatter statement. there is the Orkin Man :-) be well dear E and don't worry foxy
