Yougang,

"I am cautiously encouraged by the absence of warning today"

I feel the same way and I think this is what is happening:

- get bad news out
- get a small tailwind with the launch of K6-3 500 (there is a small chance that they will kill the entire K6 line and slightly better chance that they will kill the K6-3 line)
- build a full steam with K7

It appears that K7 was ready for launch a little while back and they didn't want to get bad news after the launch - just my guess.

Chuck

P.S.: At least 25% of the rumors I have heard are wrong and I could have made better judgements just by using my brain cells a little more. Oh well, live and learn.

Yougang,

"let's wait for next Monday/"Quiet Period" to pass then we'll know with greater certainty."

I am sure they were busy guiding analysts expectations for the quarter today. If we don't see any downgrades on Monday, that would definitely be a more upbeat sign.
Mosesmann might have pulled off a Niles here.
