No one knows do they? And if one chooses to stay out of a position until they feel it has shown upward momentum and misses the 'one day rally' then yes they missed the profits... but most rallies last more than a day.. and if I make $17.50 on a trade I am happy.

BTW... I am long ABX and NEM (again) as of Monday.

In 1985 when the Ohio, Maine, and Maryland banks busted, gold jumped $36 oz 11.9% that day.

11.9 % today would be $31 now.

When this rise occured, several large gold co's jumped 100%
