thought I'd drop in... I'm surprised all of a sudden the govt says that T has to open up its lines (TCI, etc).. what a joke..

I bought ATHM in nov 98 at $114 and watched it goto $195 without selling.. then down to $135 where I did sell... days later it hit $160 and has since fallen to $86 where it is now... I am considering coming back in along with AOL under $100. Market will correct and when it does, ATHM and AOL are likely to move back up quickly..

however, I'm beginning to wonder which one (possibly both) will be the stronger. Can they both still make strong returns for shareholders having to share?? and what new ventures will ATHM/ATT/TCI/ROADRUNNER/ETC bring to the picture..

ATHM certainly is more exciting than AOL; but AOL is a true household name stock..

right now, I own neither and have NOT kept up with this thread so there might be other reasons for the declines... if so, forgive me.
