goldsnow...I want you and everyone else to understand that what I am about to say is my personal opinion, and what anyone wants to do with it is their perogative.

Just who do these people think they are that they can decide how Christians are saved? If you mean the vatican when you say Rome, I could care less what they have to say about anything. They have already perverted the Bible to satisfy their own secular needs and have even made additions and revisions as if mortal humans had such a right.

I have attended both churches in the past and feel that the Lutheran denomination is just a cat's hair away from the Catholics. They have their own set of man made rules that demand lengthy liturgies and other such tripe.

All anyone needs to do to know on how to receive salvation is to read the Bible. It is so very clear that it almost jumps out and bites you. The only road to salvation is through Jesus Christ. All one has to do to receive this salvation is to accept Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. Can anything be simpler than that?
