When your MA is set properly, you're also picking up the natural supply/demand pivot points. So the MM/specialist activity can be based on their "book" rather than the TA even though the points are the same.

Speaking of MA Crossovers...

...are we talking Simple MAs, Exponentially Smoothed MAs, or Weighted MAs? Since part of the idea of using MAs is to get in tune with what other traders are doing, then it would be nice to know: which MAs are most of the other traders using?
