The point I made was he offered them not knowing of the angel's blinding them.

He was human. Evidently no one thought it was right cause it did not happen.

Now answer me a question He met the two angels when they came into the city and offered them a place to stay and wash their feet. Are angels in human form neding protection? He apparently thought so

Again look at he scripture. 19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

As one who would sit in the gate, he most certainly would offer his house and hospitality in those times to any stranger coming into town. Seems to me he would ESPECIALLY want those strangers to come to his house for the very reason that if they did not they were in danger of being attacked by the sodomites there. Does the scripture say anywhere at this point that he knew they were angels?

, yet you expect me 2,000 years later think they perform miracles? After all they made them blind through a closed door. Too thought they had wings.

Angels are ministering spirits created by God for His bidding. If I believe that, and I do, then I have no problem in believing that they could be as men,(Hebrew 13:2) or have wings or be fire(Psalms 104:4, Hebrews 1:7) and wind or make men blind through a door...any and all at God's direction.

You claim to be a sinner repented but I'm sure you commit sins like others. Do you worry about turning to salt for not following what you conceive to be God's laws

Remember the word is : nabat
nabat: which is a prime root word that means to "look intently on or regard with pleasure or favor."

Paul dealt with this very thing and recorded in the Roman letter:

6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

So , if I nabat, or look intently on something to want to sin, and find continuing pleasure in it, then there is no more sacrifice for sin. Christ died once for all, and to go back and live in sin again, is as you know going back to the dogs vomit.

One more question. Who decided the bible is God's inspired word, and when was it done?

1. God............2. ask Him when as I don't have those exact dates available..:o)

Good evening Sam
