I had every single card collected in 57 .... baseball and football ....took some serious trading too ...and then once I got em all the challenge seemed gone and I gave them all away to a kid a couple blocks away. Never bought a card again. I second you point...again...on early entry. You cannot just come up with a bunch of money ...throw it at a business..and come up to speed in a blink. Stating once more, as several have ( Ed made the point best and first),...takes time..there are things you learn from day to day going at it. Subtle and diverse and valuable practical knowledge that greatly enhances that pattern recognition that goes into effective future decisions. So by the time everyone and their mother decides web tv is the place to be, AXC will already have gathered content and invaluable experience...a head start. ( assuming they will find the ways to survive in the interim). PS Hey Flickerful...you still out there anywhere? Ampex hire you yet? They should.,<g>

Just imaging if we had that for our Congress and what it would do if anyone in our country (except for a very small percentage) cared !!!!!! unfortunately the great unwashed of Americans don't care and won't care until they wake up one morning and find that all their liberties have been taken away in the name of protecting us from ourselves ! OOPS - sorry one of the great things about this thread is it;s lack of infighting etc. and I don't want to open up a Pandora;s box - so scratch all the above and write it off as the Sunday morning rantings of an AMPEX (long) lunatic
