Level II shows you multi real time ticker quotes as well as individual trades and bid/ask offerings. Many or these programs include realtime up to the minute technical charts and will let you time day trading when you understand how the are used. Rea time news tickers are another feature of most. Color coded ticking on the streaming quotes will also give you a sense of market or sector direction on a second by second basis. This is a brief overview of some thing that are available. LVL II is used for NAZ stocks only. It allows you to see the orders both bid and ask and their size. Sort of realtime quotes with head lights. Only way to trade with "some confidence" IMHO.
