OT -> Gee how did you ever find that VCR with that modern

That's the name of the button, but all it does is go into
fast forward for 30 seconds worth of tape (actually about 29 sec).
When watching a tape, if a commercial starts, hit 'skip'.
The VCR will then FF thru the commercial in 2-3 seconds.
If another one starts, hit 'skip' again. I hit the botton
about 4 times right in a row when a commercial
break starts, there is always at least 2 minutes of commercials.

Very handy feature, I miss it when we use our other VCR.

VCR is a Sony high-end model from 1992 or 1993 ($500), lots of new
and cheaper VCR's have that feature now.
