Ibexx - RE: "Mosesmann's report on AMD to Prudential's private clients"

Thanks for that report. Provided a dose of reality.

I remember the other day you called Intel's low of 50.5. Quite Impressive.

Boy, or boys and girls, this thread is dead. K7 got our tongue?

Ibexx, thanks for the Mosemann report. Looks like Intel may get to continue or increase their R&D spending levels to get Coppermine, Willamette and Merced out. I saw an Intel ad, lots of openings. Doesn't hurt my feelings to see a lot of engineering job openings in Silicon Valley (Oregon, etc., too).

Congrats to the Knicks and their fans. Pulling an old Oakland Raider strategy of sorts paid off, i.e., signing some players with some baggage that not many other teams wanted. They wouldn't have done it w/o Sprewell and Camby. Now, who do they have to go up against the twin towers? Maybe start Camby and play him 48, an old Russell, Havlicek or Bird trick. Spurs in five.

Tony

Ibexx - Many thanks for the Prudential analysis on AMD.

Despite Mosesmann's glowing report on the K7, his recommendations on the company seem to indicate his presumption that AMD will once again do a belly flop.

Paul

Ibexx,

I have owned Intel for some time, and planning to hold it for a lot longer. What do you think about buying some AMD calls to hedge against potential INTC drop that may be caused by the K7 hype?

Thank you,

Khan
