Freak, kinda a sore subject with me.

Not that I'd give up a primo spot for someone, BUt,

How many times do you go anywhere, and a solid 80%+ of them aren't in use when you park, or when you leave?

Granted, if I was in that situation, I'd appreciate the consideration, but come on, are they getting tax brakes for the number of spots they make available?

Brings me to another thought.

Anyone ever encounter those unofficial signs at the grocery store that say reserves for expecting mothers?

Well, you know, that's pretty cool too, but when I take my very little kids there(to give mamma a brake), I feel no remorse about parking in those.

But if I remember correctly, like a year or two when they first appeared there were about the same as the other ones. Now it's down to only one or two stores, and there only a few spots reserved.

One thing I do appreciate is a new drug store in my area has regular parking right up front, and on the opposite side of the entrance, they have 3 "other" spots. than a little closer than the rest, they have an additional three or more. But it's a low traffic place, and I get the groovin' spot everytime. I go there(they selll cartons of smokes $2 cheaper than convience stores).
