pied- agreed... the point however, was that fears of global inflation are unjustified. that my biggest fear...inflation worries drive us into a panic. we have been so obsessed with them that its almost too much to bear. what i would like is some rationality at the fed... light inflation wont kill us and as long as government spending is kep in check and we (hopefully) pay down debt, we can continue to grow. 8-10% growth in the overall economy is fast... but 4%? the fed has been holding us down. good luck to all, trey
