Sarmad -- a little jet-lag perhaps, but you always forget who put up the money for the debt. Americans bought AMZN et al. The Japanese, Chinese and Europeans bought the long bond. The US has a negative savings rate. That is why the bond yields can go up that much -- and more. The Fed is a player in a global game -- an important player. But if you think 'pricing in a Fed tightening' has already occured, then I encourage you to reconsider. Today will become the 'typical' day for the rest of this month. AMZN at 20 will have fully priced in the changed macro-economic environment. BTW AMZN is a buy at 20 :-)
