Mary: IMO it sure looks like a good long term holding (i'm in the telcom business and local loop is one of places to be - which is why i was attracted to the stock). I looked into the insider trading some more, and yahoo has biz.yahoo.com that really lays it out - lotsa buying around 20 last year and all sales and exercises this year up around 40-50. Appears insiders know what they are doing and looks like they think price is ahead of itself. OTOH i believe insiders do tend to be early and i don't usually use as primary consideration for evaluation. IMO, fundamentally, it ain't cheap at 44 ttm p/e with estimated 27% eps growth rate, but forward pe about equal to the average pe over last 5 years (35), so not that expensive either. I agree with you, it's a tough one to read - think i'll cut back to single position and honor my stop if hit on rest - it's pretty volatile (beta is really high at 1.65), so probably good idea to give it some slack given the market. jim g
