woody, funny you ask. Just got back from a little lake called Sardine up off highway 49 north of Downyville. Am I testing your N. CA geography yet? Anyway, did some fly fishing in that area but no luck. Still to cold and lots of snow at those elevations. Came back down in the valley to a town called Prinston just north of Willows where it was hot. Fish was flyfishing for Shad there and did very well. Met my dad and brother there. The competition to see who caught the most was brutal. Dad won and rubbed it in. Mr. Fish
