Yes, I agree. Unfortunately this happens in all industries. I think there are more people out there now that don't do their DD, or do it after they purchase the stock. I have been both trading and investing in FNCM which is an online mortgage company. I can't tell you how many times someone will ask on one of the threads "how much of Eloan does Finet own?" - they happen to be competitors! Because these two companies are often mentioned in the same sentence, they assume that they are somehow one of the same company.
